About the Journal

Aims and Scope

Registan Journal of Economics, Engineering and Education (Registan J. Econ. Eng. Educ.) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific and practical journal. It publishes original research, reviews and applied studies in three fields:

  • Economics: regional and world economy; finance, banking and taxation; digital economy and marketing.
  • Engineering: information technology; energy and mechanical engineering; construction and architecture.
  • Education: theory and methods of teaching; higher education pedagogy; inclusive and distance education.

Manuscripts are accepted in Uzbek, Russian and English. The journal is intended for researchers, doctoral students, university teachers and practitioners.

Peer Review Process

The journal uses double-blind peer review: authors and reviewers do not know each other's identities.

  1. Initial screening (1–2 working days). The editor checks that the manuscript fits the journal's scope and formatting requirements. A similarity check is performed: originality must be at least 75%.
  2. Peer review (5–10 working days). The manuscript is sent to two independent reviewers in the field. They assess relevance, novelty, methodology, the soundness of the results and presentation.
  3. Decision. Based on the reviews, the editor decides to accept, accept with revisions, send for another round of review, or reject. Authors submit revisions within 7 days.

All manuscripts go through the same review process. The chosen publication plan does not affect the outcome or timing of the review. Reviewers with a conflict of interest decline the invitation.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes 4 issues per year (March, June, September, December) using a continuous publication model: an accepted and paid article is added to the current issue and published online within the time set by the chosen plan. Each article receives a DOI (once the DOI prefix is obtained).

Open Access Policy

All articles are free to read from the day of publication. Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license: anyone may read, download, copy, distribute and reuse an article provided the authors and source are credited.

Publication Ethics

The journal follows the guidelines of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

Authors

  • The manuscript must be original, not previously published and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Others' ideas, data and text are properly cited.
  • Only those who made a substantial contribution to the research are listed as authors.
  • Fabrication and falsification of data are prohibited.
  • Funding sources and conflicts of interest are disclosed in the article.
  • Authors who discover a significant error in a published article notify the editorial office promptly.

Reviewers

  • Treat the manuscript as confidential, do not share it and do not use it for personal advantage.
  • Provide objective, well-reasoned and courteous reviews within the agreed time.
  • Decline to review when they have a conflict of interest or lack the relevant expertise.

Editors

  • Evaluate manuscripts solely on scholarly merit, regardless of the authors' nationality, gender, religion, political views or affiliation.
  • Ensure that payment and the chosen plan do not influence review outcomes.
  • Keep manuscripts and reviewer identities confidential.

Plagiarism and Retractions

Every manuscript is checked for similarity. If originality is below 75%, the manuscript is returned to the authors without review. If plagiarism, data falsification or duplicate publication is found after publication, the article is retracted following COPE guidelines. The reason is stated on the article page, and the fee is not refunded.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

AI tools (for example, ChatGPT) cannot be authors. If they were used for language editing or translation, this is stated in the Methodology or Acknowledgements section. Authors are responsible for every statement and result in the article.

Article Processing Charges

Submission and peer review are free. The publication fee is charged only after acceptance; no fee is charged for rejected manuscripts. Plans and prices are published on the journal website. Payment is made via Click or Payme under the terms of the public offer.

Archiving

Journal content is backed up daily on the server. Published articles are permanently kept in the journal archive in PDF format.
